This honor is given to a select number of elementary and middle schools across the U.S. for providing broad access to transformative learning experiences for students through PLTW curriculum.
Project Lead The Way is a national program that promotes the "need to access real-world, applied learning experiences." This science curriculum is taught to grades K-8, where hands-on experiences emphasize the importance of STREAM (Science, Technology, Religion, Arts, and Mathematics) curriculum. Project Lead The Way helps students develop problem-solving skills that enable them to thrive in school and beyond. St. Francis is proud to partner with Project Lead The Way, through which every student K-8 is given the opportunity to develop these crucial skills.
